As an African chemicals' business, Orbichem's can offer a tailored service to the unique needs of the African chemical markets. As such, Orbichem has the ability to combine the small-scale quantities required by the developing African end-users and translate them into product demands that are more suited to the large-scale manufacturers in the world. Orbichem also supplies the developed major and multi-national oil companies and cosmetic producers with their imported, ultra-refined base oil and refined wax needs.
To its global principals, Orbichem performs value-adding services such as sales development and market representation, customer liaison and relationship management, customer technical support, market research and supply chain management with particular emphasis on the African petrochemicals market.
Orbichem is a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) South African company. It is 100% black owned and managed. The concept of BEE underpins Orbichem’s entire business ethos, where the company prides itself in its network of BEE suppliers and customers. The company has an active corporate social investment programme, including support for schools, orphanages and Aids non-governmental organisations.
