Cliff Classen
Managing Director
Cliff has been in the oil industry for more than 25 years. Cliff is an analytical chemist and also holds a bachelors degree in economics. His career in the oil industry spans work in product research and development, marketing and sales, and technical consulting. Prior to the founding of Orbichem, Cliff headed up the chemicals division of one of the major petroleum companies in South Africa. Cliff's long career in the industry has allowed him to network with the best in the global market in his field of expertise. He is recognized by many in the global market as an African expert in his field and he contributes regularly to the growing of the knowledge and understanding of his subject matter in industry journals. Cliff has consulted for some of the top petrochemical companies in South Africa, Europe, the US, China and South Korea.
